Old House Loves offers a range of services for interior, garden, and color consultation, design, and project management. We customize our services to meet the needs of each unique client and project.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
We typically begin our engagement with a complimentary phone consultation. This helps us to understand your overall goals for the project, along with your time frame and budget considerations, and for you to learn about our design style and process. If all are interested in proceeding, we will move to an on-site consultation.
ON-SITE CONSULTATION
Our first on-site consultation will allow us to see and discuss the challenges of your home or garden project, and to better understand your style and your desired outcomes. If you have a very small project or need for advice, this consultation may be all you need. If you are looking to move forward on a larger project, this consultation serves as an initial information-gathering step -- an opportunity for us to take photos and preliminary measurements, compile your list of requirements, and to better understand your tastes and budget.
DESIGN SERVICES
Based on our initial phone and on-site consultations, we will provide you with a bid for our additional services based on your specific project, including timing, deliverables, and payment terms. Services available include:
Gardens
We offer design recommendations, space planning, and product research (selection, sourcing, and pricing) for clients who prefer to purchase retail products. And if you want us to tag along to your favorite home store or architectural salvage yard to help find just the right "something" for your design, we offer that service, too.
Color
Old House Loves will collaborate with you in selecting the most appropriate and harmonious colors for your home, based on the undertones in your existing finishes and furniture, lighting conditions, and your personal style and taste.

- Design Development – Landscape Master and Planting Plans with plant lists
- Project implementation services – whether you select one of our preferred installation partners or your own, we can help with developing bid specs, contractor scheduling and coordination, and serving as a liaison during your installation

- Custom color matching - find the closest paint color in any major paint brand's line (existing walls, fabric, art work, etc.)
- Photo mockups - see and compare how colors will look before painting
